Project groups

Collaborative research takes place across disciplines in open, integrative, i.e. self-managing project groups, open to relevant scholarly experts from all Hesse’s universities. ZEVEDI project groups work intensely on selected topics for a limited period of time. Project groups are usually led by a team of spokespersons.

Ad hoc projects

ZEVEDI tackles short-term research-related challenges as well as consulting for business and politics within the framework of ad hoc projects. The ad hoc format is also used for strategically required cooperations or transfer projects as well as for the awarding of fellowships.

Externally funded projects

ZEVEDI positions itself as a strong research partner on a national and international level and participates with its scientists in the application and implementation of corresponding externally funded collaborative projects. External funding expands the range of relevant activities and supports development of ZEVEDI’s research profile.

Dialogue

ZEVEDI’s concern is not only the scientific exchange between the disciplines involved, but also the dialogue with business, politics and the public. With their competencies, the participating experts are important partners and initiators in these target areas. The results of their work contribute to relevant debates and deepen the understanding of normative challenges among decision-makers.
