Martijn Jeroen van der Linden
is a financial economist and an expert on the digital transformation of money, financial innovation, and the geopolitics of finance. He is Professor of Practice in New Finance at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology, where he developed guidelines for redesigning monetary and financial systems in the digital age. He regularly shares insights in leading media outlets as well as professional and academic journals. Prior to his research career, van der Linden worked at ING and in the NGO policy sector.
