The Centre Responsible Digitality is organised as a virtual, Hesse-wide network. It links and bundles scientific expertise in the interdisciplinary field of digitality. For this purpose, the scientists participating in ZEVEDI can use various collaboration and transfer formats.
The centre is headed by Prof. Dr. phil. Petra Gehring (philosophy of knowledge and technology, current connections of digital policy, law and ethics; Technische Universität Darmstadt). Deputy directors of the Centre are Prof. Dr. iur. Florian Möslein (civil law, German and European economic law; Philipps Universität Marburg) and Prof. Dr. iur. Anne Riechert (law, data protection law and law in information processing; Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences).
The eight founding directors from different Hessian universities have jointly developed the research agenda and research formats for ZEVEDI. Since late summer 2020, they have been working together to advance the content and scientific expansion of the Hesse-wide network.
In autumn 2020 the first two ZEVEDI project groups started their work.
The ZEVEDI office is headed by Dr. Christiane Ackermann and is located at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
