This declaration on accessibility applies to the website of Centre Responsible Digitality (ZEVEDI) which can be accessed via the homepage link https://zevedi.de.

Centre Responsible Digitality (ZEVEDI) endeavours to make its website fully accessible in accordance with national regulations regarding the implementation of the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Both the national regulations and the Directive require that websites and mobile applications provided by public bodies are fully accessible.

This website is partially compliant with the Behinderten­gleichstellungs­gesetze (Acts on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities) on federal and state level (BGG & LGG), Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV – accessible information technology ordinance) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

Explanatory note

The concept for the design of this website of Centre Responsible Digitality (ZEVEDI) began before September 2022. Since then, we have made efforts within the available resources to implement and develop the website, taking into account fundamental aspects of accessible design.

Enforcement procedure

Should we not respond to your feedback to your satisfaction, you can contact the Arbitration Service at the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities. The Arbitration Service is responsible for seeking solutions to disputes between persons with disabilities or their associations and federal public bodies and for settling them out of court.
