While corporate communications have long been the subject of intensive corporate governance research, a paradigm shift towards fast, adaptive and widely available communication media can be observed with the advance of digitisation. This also affects the communication of shareholders, corporate bodies and intermediaries, especially investors and investment advisors.
Against this background, the workshop will focus on the one hand on the media and information law legal framework that applies in particular to influencers. On the other hand, it will shed light on the interaction of relevant communicators from the perspective of communication sciences. On this basis, further implications for the normative disciplines will also be discussed.
